Social education is a form of social intervention which will take place from strategies and educational content in order to promote the social welfare and improve the quality o people in general, especially problem solving of both Haves and Have-Nots.
It's also learning through the observation of other people's behaviour. It is a process of social change in which people learn from each other in ways that can benefit wider social-ecological systems. Different social contexts allow individuals to pick up new behaviour by observing what people are doing within that environment. Social learning and social pedagogy emphasizes the dynamic interaction between people and the environment in the construction of meaning and identity.
Social education encompasses a wide range of areas; prominent among them are adult education, specialized social education, socio-cultural, non-formal education, environmental education, intervention in elderly and intervention in addiction.
